Mission Pest Control

The service did not work. I used them for a year and had a ton of spiders the whole time. Went to a new provider and the problem was solved in 2 treatments. The worst issue is 2 months after I canceled in writing, they are still trying to debit my cc and they are refusing to cancel unless I talk to an account manager. I have told them in writing over 30 times that I will not speak to anyone and they have to cancel my account because I have asked in writing. They have escalated to harassment. They continue to email, text, and call, even though I have told them to stop contacting me over 20 times.

So here's the story. They have a door-to-door salesman walking the streets. He shows up in my front yard and says "You have a spider infestation" "I am with mission pest control and we can take care of that problem." My wife and I listen to his speel and the hook "the free 1st treatment." The catch is that they need to do 4 more treatments in the year for the special deal. We explained to the flim-flam man that this was a vacation home and that we were not always there. He assured us that, that was not a problem and we would just need to call when we were available. Now I am constantly robo-called and told when they will be there to perform the treatment and to leave my residence unlocked. Even if I was in there I would not leave my property unlocked for the day. I have called multiple times and explained this to no avail. I got another call today and it was the same song and dance. I explained I was not there and that I would not want them spraying my hose during a tropical storm. I was told their product is water activated and can be sprayed even underwater. Even if there was a tiny bit of truth to this I do not want the chemical runoff that could affect my pets or the environment. I signed a contract so I will see it to the end no matter how horrible this company is. I will keep my ethics intact unlike them. Talked with Mike today and while I disagree with the robocall scheduling my appointment and not having a method to accept or cancel the appointment. We were able to work out other issues that are listed above. So I am changing my overall review from horrible to better.

Have been with Mission for a number of years now. Jordan Story is fantastic. He takes his time and does a great job. I request him every time, if he is not available I'll wait till he is for service.
